Does "not being close" give you the best reason to not go visit people you know ?
Even if we don't meet so often now, at least, we were classmates together once.
At least, we've been through the toughest times together.
& at least, we've had the most wonderful moments just by being together.

Seriously, if you want people to remember you, please make the effort and initiative to go find them first.
Yah, the main reason why people lose contact with one another is because neither parties are willing to take that step, go the extra mile to stay in touch.
